Yes. ALDI TALK is an MVNO running on Telefónica/O2 cell sites. Coverage and signal are identical to O2-branded plans. The brand is part of the E-Plus / O2 / Telefónica group.

Where can I buy an ALDI TALK SIM?

Every ALDI Nord and ALDI Süd store sells the activation card. You can also order online from alditalk.de and have the SIM mailed. The eSIM has been advertised but availability is not fully verified in current source material — check the live ALDI TALK page before counting on eSIM.

Does ALDI TALK's Jahres-Paket renew automatically?

No. The Jahres-Paket runs for 12 months from purchase. When it expires, your number stays active but data, calls, and SMS revert to PAYG rates. Top up with another Jahres-Paket or move to a Kombi-Paket S/M before the year ends to avoid surprise charges.
