What network does HoT use?

HoT runs on Magenta (formerly T-Mobile Austria). You get the same Magenta coverage and 5G access on HoT fix 5G and HoT fix Mega 5G as you do on Magenta's own postpaid plans. Magenta led 5G coverage at 3.6/10 in Opensignal's Q1 2025 report and led nPerf 2026 overall on raw download speed.

For LTE-only HoT plans, you still get Magenta LTE reach. The practical difference between HoT fix at EUR 9.90 and Magenta Mobile Sim Only M at EUR 24.90 is mainly the EUR 15 monthly saving in exchange for limited customer support and prepaid billing.
